1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the StockPilot application (hereinafter "the Application"), published by GroGeek Studio, and available on the Shopify App Store. StockPilot is an inventory velocity analysis and stockout prediction tool for Shopify merchants.

3. Access to the Service
Access to StockPilot is exclusively through the Shopify App Store. Installing the Application requires an active Shopify account. By installing the Application, the Merchant accepts these Terms in their entirety. Use of the Application is also subject to Shopify's Terms of Service.
4. Service Description
StockPilot provides Shopify merchants with the following features:
- Sales velocity analysis by product and variant
- Stockout prediction based on sales history
- Automatic product classification (A/B/C) based on performance
- Restock alerts and recommendations
- Inventory dashboard with key indicators
4.1 Service Limitations
Predictions and analyses provided by StockPilot are based on statistical models applied to the Merchant's historical data. They constitute estimates and do not guarantee forecast accuracy. The Merchant remains solely responsible for their restocking decisions.
5. Pricing and Billing
StockPilot offers a tiered subscription model (freemium). Prices are listed in US dollars (USD), in accordance with Shopify App Store practices.
- A free plan with limited features is available at no commitment
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually at the Merchant's choice
- Billing is managed entirely by Shopify via the Shopify Billing API
- Prices may be changed with 30 days' notice. Current subscriptions are not affected until their next renewal
5.1 Free Trial
A free trial may be offered for paid plans. At the end of the trial period, the subscription is automatically activated unless previously cancelled by the Merchant.
6. Data and Privacy
To function, StockPilot accesses the following data from the Merchant's Shopify store:
- Product data (titles, variants, stock levels, prices)
- Order data (history required for velocity calculations)
- Store information (name, domain, timezone, currency)
6.1 Data Processing
The Merchant's data is processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data protection laws. Data is:
- Stored on secure servers located in the European Union
- Used exclusively for the operation of the Application
- Never sold, shared, or communicated to third parties
- Deleted within 30 days following uninstallation of the Application
6.2 Merchant Rights
The Merchant has the right to access, rectify, port, and delete their data at any time. These rights can be exercised by email at support@grogeek.fr. Any request will be processed within a maximum of 30 days.
7. Duration and Termination
The subscription is concluded for the duration chosen at the time of subscription (monthly or annual). Termination can be performed at any time:
- By uninstalling the Application from the Shopify admin
- By email at support@grogeek.fr
- Termination takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No pro-rata refund is provided for the current period
7.1 Service Suspension
GroGeek Studio reserves the right to suspend access to the Application in case of:
- Abusive or fraudulent use
- Non-compliance with these Terms or Shopify's terms of use
- Payment default as reported by Shopify
8. Liability
GroGeek Studio commits to providing a reliable service and fixing malfunctions within reasonable timeframes. However, GroGeek Studio cannot be held liable for:
- Interruptions or malfunctions of the Shopify platform
- Data loss resulting from Shopify or third-party failures
- Business decisions made by the Merchant based on the provided analyses
- Indirect damages, including loss of revenue, loss of customers, or reputational harm
- Force majeure events as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code
8.1 Limitation of Liability
In any event, GroGeek Studio's total liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts actually paid by the Merchant during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
9. Technical Support
GroGeek Studio commits to:
- Providing technical support via email at support@grogeek.fr
- Responding to support requests within a reasonable timeframe (generally within 48 business hours)
- Ensuring corrective maintenance and Application updates
- Informing Merchants of scheduled maintenance that may impact the service
10. Intellectual Property
The StockPilot Application, its source code, interface, velocity calculation and prediction algorithms, documentation, and all its components are the exclusive property of GroGeek Studio and are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these Terms, the parties commit to seeking an amicable solution. Failing amicable agreement within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
12. Changes to Terms
GroGeek Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Merchants will be informed of any substantial modification by email and/or by notification within the Application, with a minimum notice period of 15 days. Continued use of the Application after the modifications take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
